Do you want a rounded music education for your child? We offer string and piano instrumental lessons, ensembles and musicianship classes from nursery through to year 6 primary led by specialist tutors with wide experience including Guildhall and Trinity Junior departments.

Headed by local specialist teachers, Catherine Schofield (violin/viola) and Simon Trentham (cello) and Frankie Papadakis (piano, Kodaly and Colourstrings specialist) Stringendo Music Classes has been successfully running for nearly 10 years and were originally an offshoot of the highly sought after Trinity College Stringtime scheme.

Each class has no more than 8 children so they receive specialist attention. The teachers aim to integrate the concepts of the great music educators Zoltan Kodaly (singing) and Emile Jacques- Dalcroze (rhythm through movement) in the instrumental, ensemble and musicianship classes.
